The Opportunity
After years of experience developing a reliable, repeatable process for identifying patentable, breakthrough innovations at 3M and Meta, originators Kelly Ingham and Andrew Ouderkirk recognized an opportunity to bring this material inventor methodology to the world via an in-depth, interactive book.
To bring this book to market, we needed to understand not only the meticulous methodology itself, but also the landscape of innovation-focused instructional materials and the broader strategic frameworks and services available. Then we could develop a brand and marketing website to convey the unique value of the Leap methodology to our distinct key personas.
The Execution
As a brand strategist and copywriter on the project, I collaborated with a team to run a discovery workshop and conduct landscape research.
Then, I partnered with the creative director to develop a differentiated brand and draft and iterate on informational website copy that delivered the right level of granularity for target audiences with varied engineering expertise.
